One of the things I’m grateful for in my beauty writing work is discovering local makeup brands that have really competitive products. Among these brands is Ellana Cosmetics.
I was pleasantly surprised to learn about their skin-friendly mineral makeup as well as their environment-friendly packaging. I went through a capsule makeup phase and instantly thought of the Ellana Gaia Refillable Magnetic Makeup Palette (P249). With this I can create a base palette with a foundation and a blush refill, or a color palette with the Ellana Multipurpose Color Cream Refill For Eyes, Lips, And Cheeks (P249-299).
Other popular makeup products from the brand include the Ellana DDCC Daily Defense Color Correcting Moisturizing Primer With SPF30 (P149 – ON SALE) and the Ellana Skin Smoothing Blur Primer (P149 – ON SALE). I haven’t tried these two but have heard a lot of good reviews about them. I’m definitely adding these to cart this Shopee Beauty Sale!
Also this year, Ellana released full skincare lines for dry skin and oily skin. I got to try both the Stay Fresh Gift Set (P1,595) and the Flower Power Gift Set (P1,595) with great results. While I prefer the Flower Power line, the Stay Fresh line also works on my dry skin since both moisturizers contain Pentavitin™ that offers “72-hour hydration”. I just need to add a bit of serum for more hydration when using Stay Fresh. I also love how chic the packaging looks and these lines have been my go-tos whenever I want a good basic skincare routine.
From their other skincare products, what I’m also interested in trying out is the Ellana Glass Skin Glow Cooling 3-In-1 Facial Mist (P449). It is said to help achieve “an instant glass skin glow”. I use up Ellana’s mists quite quickly so this Glass Skin Glow one going on sale is good news for my pocket.
