So I made an Emily in Paris inspired look the other day featuring products that come close to the actual products used by @lilyjcollins‘ makeup artist in the series, @aureliepayenmakeup. The article I referenced is from @refinery29 in case you’re curious to know more.
For Emily’s base, it was Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops paired with Chanel Vital Lumiere. I used #rmsbeauty Uncoverup in Shade 33 because it gives a subtle glow to the skin while retaining a natural finish if applied sparingly.
For her eyes and cheeks, Emily used the now discontinued Tom Ford cream blush in Scintillate so I substituted this with the #makeupforever B308 powder which according to Temptalia, is a close dupe to the color.
As for mascara, I don’t have Emily’s Dior Pump Up The Volume so I used #maybelline The Falsies after curling with my trusty #shuuemura Lash Curler. I also lined my eyes with #happyskinph Eyeliner.
To get #lilycollins signature brows, I used @rmsbeauty Back2Brow in Dark with the #benefitcosmetics Brow Brush which I find amazing for creating those emphasized brow lines.
As for her winning lip combo of #charlottetilburymakeup Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk + #maccosmeticsph in Velvet Teddy, i only have the former so I paired it with the RMS lipstick in Temptation.
To finish up the look, I added the #laneigeph Lip Glowy Balm for well-moisturized lips.
And here’s my finished look:
I even wore my favorite fuchsia moto jacket for the occasion!
I think I can use a darker lip color next time and I should probably make my eyebrows bushier but overall, I like this makeup look and I feel like I got the overall Emily in Paris feel. I hope you guys like it too! I’ll see if I can do Camille’s look next but I haven’t found any sources online sharing the products she used. Please let me know in case you have any information regarding Camille Razat’s look! I feel like my daily look is more her than Emily actually. 🙂 Til next post!
