I’ve always loved multi-use products, and if it’s locally-made with great reviews as well? My interest was piqued and here I am, looking for more information about the Clocheflame All Around Flush (P389).
Started by founder Arianne Amante early this year, the brand Clocheflame was her poetry writing pseudonym when she was 15 yrs old. Now it has become a brand that promotes embracing one’s self, “to protect the spark and that flame you have within”.
As a new brand, Clocheflame’s only product so far is the All Around Flush or AAF! with 4 shades:
Lush – everyday shade of candy apple red
Bask – warm shade you get after a vacay; recommended for bronzing and contouring
Mist – easy to wear Cabaret pink
Fuzz – universally flattering coral-salmon
AAF! is promoted as a multi-use skincare-infused color that can be used for the eyes, cheeks, and lips. It has a “gel mousse formula” described as ultra-lightweight, non-sticky, easy to blend and build up. Collagen, Mango Butter, and Grapeseed Oil are some of its key ingredients.
The recommended application is a dot, tap, and smudge for a light wash of color. What really makes the AAF! really interesting is how easy it is to blend and layer. Here are some of CF’s recommended combinations, but you can certainly blend more than 2 shades.
I tried out all shades so watch out for a #KatsyDailyLip video drop! The AAF! can be bought separately, except for the Lush shade which will be coming back “in a more universally-flattering, less poppy shade of red”. You can still get the Lush shade if you get the Clocheflame All Around Flush Multi-Use Gel Mousse Pigment Twin Flame Bundle Sunset (P599) or the Clocheflame All Around Flush Multi-Use Gel Mousse Pigment Full Set (P1,167).
Here’s a quick look I did featuring all four shades. I used Fuzz for the eyes before blending out with the Bask shade. For the cheeks, I used Mist while I added a touch of warmth with Bask. I used Lush on my lips but decided to add Bask on top to tone down the color just a bit. I’m quite liking how easily they blend together to get your custom colors. So if you get all four, you can play around like I did and get different shades!
