Since I am land locked for a while, I have taken to looking through my old travel photos to pacify my eternal wanderlust. It’s quite interesting how the quality and manner of taking photos has changed through the years, from my first point and shoot to those days when I just used my phone (a Nokia E72) to take all photos to my waterproof camera until today where I am assigned to wield my own micro-four thirds camera with whatever lens Mark gives me, attached to my own Black Rapid camera strap. Mind you, I practically know nothing about photography save for pointing and shooting and the occasional obsession with macro photography. I do love taking those super close up shots of my latest beauty wonders.
Please indulge me as I am posting these photos I took from my December 2008 Hong Kong trip with my first ever travel group, Ariel and Anna. I have traveled with Ariel to Macau, Hong Kong, back to Macau, Boracay, Singapore (where he works so I don’t think that should be counted?) and to Korea town in Anilao, Batangas. He was supposed to go with us to Korea and Japan but alas, his work had to come first. As for Anna, I have traveled with her to Hong Kong and Macau (this December 2008 trip), Shanghai, Singapore, Korea, Coron, Japan, Cambodia, and Baler. We were supposed to go to Milan this year for the Expo but priorities and schedules change so we’re kind of Philippine bound this year. I’m still not giving up the dream as the Expo runs till September and I’ve been to the past two Expos so if anyone wants to kindly sponsor me (hello my Ninongs and Ninangs who probably don’t even know about my blog haha), feel free to send me an email or text or call. 😀
Anyway, on to the photos!
What’s an out of town trip with two architects and one interior designer without building photos??
I’m skipping the Macau trip as I can’t remember which were the photos that I took. Next up would be a glimpse of the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China. Till then! 🙂
