Dateline January 23rd 2016 – Cream Silk in the Philippines made a live cover photo shoot for, not just one, but six of the country’s leading fashion and lifestyle magazines. At the World Trade Center Tent they gathered together editors and various media practitioners to participate in an evening filled with transformative talks and demonstrations hosted by each of the participating publications.
Thru @MetroMagPh we had the opportunity to get to know renowned portrait photographer Sara Black and the process she uses to capture the essence of the people in front of her lens. A special treat in the form of a one on one session with Sara, was given to 50 lucky ladies that night.
Naturally we couldn’t miss this rare opportunity and got in just in time, amidst traffic, to have our portrait taken ^^
Following the theme of Transformation and The Modern Filipina, more stories about success in their respective fields and careers were shared over each of the booths for all the magazines.
The Live Cover Shoot happened later in the evening with six iconic female personalities on stage each with their own vignettes. Everyone was excited to witness and participate in this as you can see:

Cream Silk did one better by bringing in Miss Universe 2016 – Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach onto the stage on her first media appearance in the Philippines since coming in from the competition.
She shared with the crowd a bit on her story and inspired everyone just like how she did during the pageant – short and sweet.
It was truly an evening that celebrated The Modern Filipina through each of their Cream Silk Transformations. A big thanks to Metro Magazine for inviting us to participate in the extraordinary display. Watch this space for more on each of the featured ladies.
